Master Yim started learning Chinese martial arts when he was a child. He is passionate about all sorts of combative arts, but his favourite has always been Chinese Kungfu. After learning Taekwondo, he went on to explore Wing Chun, Chinese Wrestling, Yi Quan, Pak Mei, and Qi Gong. In the course of learning Kungfu, Master Yim saw the advantages of different schools of Kungfu and the potentiality of applying the skills they teach to real life combat. He also saw the philosophical depths in their teachings. To him, Chinese Kungfu is an art that combines body healing and combat skills.
Having acknowledged the effects and benefits of practicing Kungfu in terms of improving health and combat skills, Master Yim has determined to promote Chinese Kungfu to people of different ages and nationalities.
